For once, Vanda was apologetic, rather than excited, about the new people she’d  brought, which made Wilom apprehensive. How could this possibly be worse than Inushi? Wilom tucked his notebook under his arm, partly because it was easier to carry, and partially to get rid of the temptation to get it out and start taking notes again.
